Recovering N360 formatted data from a drive without the use of N360

[Removed]

The above is proof that I ordered  Norton™ Security Premium or (Norton 360) Back in 2014.  The computer I was using crashed due to the drive freezing in 2015.  Two years later I found a data recovery company (Outsource Data Recovery) that had reasonable prices to recover failed drives.

Yesterday I chatted with two Norton Representatives who were very helpful to me in trying to get the data off my drive. [Ajay  and Monali ] Both deserve at-a-boys for doing their jobs well.  I really appreciate the help both of them provided.

Both representatives claim that they could not confirm my email address used when I purchased the product. The information above the horizontal line proved that I was using [Removed] when I purchased the product.

I think that I need higher level involvement to get the information off my portable drive. Mr. Prasad promised that he would have someone call me within 48 hours to discuss the issue.  This message I hope will provide some background information on the issue.

@JohnH. Thompson Just following up on your posts. Has your issue been resolved? Thanks in advance.

Well, he last visited about 50 minutes after his first post (before any replies), and that was ~3 weeks ago. He has 2 posts total (one of which is somehow missing). I'm not sure if we'll see him...

Peter, FWIW! I believe he is trying to get the license information for a Norton product purchased in 2014 off that drive. Support states his email used at the time of purchase is invalid.

Are you looking to find data in backups you made with Norton 360? And is this data stored on the portable drive you mention? What kind of portable drive are you using?
