After Norton Scans my external SSD drives, I keep getting recurrent alerts multiple times per day that pop up immediately despite Xing out.
How do I turn off recurrent alert after the task has been already completed?

Many of the alerts have a Don't ask again option. Instead of clicking on the X to close it, hover your cursor over the X and you should see Don't ask again, or something similar. Click on that.
