Redundant Norton Advertising pop-ups. Why? Can I stop them?

I have just had my third pop-up advising me there are 6 outdated drivers on my PC and I should add Norton Driver Updater for £41.79.
This pop-up on boot-up was 7th March. I have had Norton Driver Updater for about 18 months.
The last scan using Driver Updater was 1st March, after the last pop-up.
My (paid for) version of Driver Updater is clear that there are no outdated drivers.
How can I stop these redundant, wrong, pop-ups from Norton on my Norton product?

and you have Mute special offers…enabled?

are you referring to Smart Scan promo offers?

try Smart Scan at Run manually and do not call Smart Scan

Thank you for the reply.
Yes I do have notifications toggled off using both Norton 360 Home Notifications>Mute informational notifications and >Mute special offers.
I had taken this from previous Community Posts.

Thank you for the Smart Scan suggestion. I do not automate this and I do run Smart Scan s manually and will watch this closely. I shall now recheck the settings too.

However it doesn’t alter the central point that Norton now regularly message me with “driver update required” notifications to encourage me to buy a Norton product I already have and a Norton product which shows no driver updates required.
Do you think that acceptable?

Also and with respect, really this is not attempting to be clever, as a guru could you tell me is the “Driver update required” message a scam or is the Norton Driver Updater useless?

No…since, you asked. I feel all Norton marketing should be confined to Norton Store.

I do not run Norton Driver Updater.
Caveat: I ran Norton Driver Updater trial. I did not update drivers via Norton Driver Updater.

Thank you. I have valued your feedback.
I have not actually had any issue with Norton Driver Updater and did have some appreciation on use with caution. My original position was to check what manual driver updating suggested vs what Norton’s product did. Thank you now for the link which I shall read carefully.
Ignoring Norton marketing would be my default position but I am mightily irritated at being asked to buy a product I already own with a list suggesting that the product I pay for does not work.
It is they not the performance of the products in and off themselves that is making me question my subscription it is the apparent marketing dishonesty.
Perhaps you have the ear of someone in Norton marketing and can point this out to them?

Note: this Norton user does not have Norton’s ear regarding Norton marketing.
And based on my following Norton Community. No user has Norton’s ear.

I can visit Norton Store, anytime I want.
I do not want Norton Store visiting me, anytime Norton wants.

A correction. On review I have had automated smart scan on this device - so will follow your advice. Thanks again.

Smart Scan is enabled by default so its easy to be tricked by this.

Its the sort of thing you’d expect from a scammer.
