I’ve got a couple of complaints on the registration screen…
1. The ‘I’ve read and accept the terms’ check box did not retain its state when I had an error in the password I selected.
2. After correcting the passwords I got an error because ‘terms’ wasn’t checked, and lost the passwords.
ALL FORM FIELDS SHOULD RETAIN THEIR VALUES WHEN AN ERROR IS ENCOUNTERED! You might be able to talk me into clearing the password fields when a password error is encountered, but there is no excuse for not saving the check box value, or retaining the passwords when a non-password error is encountered. To do otherwise is just wasting MY time.
Yes, I have strong feelings about this. I do a lot of work programming web forms…
I’m not sure if it is a bug or not and must admit it is kind of annoying but I also have to admit it is more safe this way
