Reinstalling Norton 360 to a Specified Drive

One of my Norton 360 licenses is installed on a Microsoft Surface tablet that’s rapidly running out of available storage. As a fix, I installed a microSD drive and have uninstalled several programs from the C:/ drive and reinstalled on the SD drive (D:/).

I’ve uninstalled Norton-360 but when I try to reinstall it, the Norton installation routine doesn’t give me a choice of where to install. It just seems to automatically reinstall on the C:/ drive. I’ve tried to reinstall to D:/ several times but without success.

Comments/recommendations/fixes very much appreciated.

Because of the way Norton needs to interact with the OS, Norton has decided to force the install onto the system drive. C:/.

You should be able to get along with the OS and one Security app on the C drive. All other apps and files are fair game for moving to a SD drive.

Thanks. Not the answer I was hoping for but at least I know why my reinstalls to D:/ has not been successful.
