Reload Norton 360 to new Computer

I am upgrading to a new computer and operating system (windows XP to windows 7, 64 bit). Have current subscription for Norton 360 and wanted to know if anyone could advise instructions for best way to reload Norton onto new computer. Should I just download again from website using my product key or is there a better way?

Hi,

If you no longer require N360 on your old system you can remove the subscription by signing in to Norton Management with your Norton Account details.  If you click the Account tab you will see your current activations.  By clicking the trash can icon you will regain your subscription.

If instead you will keep N360 installed on your old system and just want to download it on the new PC,  sign in to your Norton Account and next to your subscription is a download button.  Downloading from here will not require entering your Product Key as it will already be activated.

Remember to run Live Update,  rebooting where required,  until no more updates are available.

Remember too, that if your new PC comes preinstalled with a trial security program,  it will need to be completely cleaned using that programs removal tool.  Most security products have a removal tool found at their site.

If you have any more questions you know where to find us.
