Remote Access Protection and Safe Web "protection is disabled" alerts

Alert in Norton 360 app on my Win 11 Home PC says these protections are disabled. When I click “Enable,” it says issues have been resolved…for about 3-5 seconds…then the same alert reappears. Have rebooted several times, but same problem. Meanwhile, another part of the same screen says, “You’re still protected”. Stumped.

and you’ve run Norton LiveUpdate + Restart (not Shut down) machine?

If your Norton is not working as expected after you’ve tried Reset to Default & Repair Norton & clean re-install Norton 360…then…you may need to reach out to Norton support.

Norton Community is primarily user-to-user “working” product help.

Thank you, bjm. I did the first things you mentioned to no avail. Finally fixed with a reinstallation of Norton 360.
