I’ve run Norton LiveUpdate, but don’t see where there is an option for LiveUpdate + Restart

run Norton LiveUpdate + Restart (not Shut down) your machine.

I have the same issue, I switch it on and it just switches back off again 2 seconds later. I’m up-to-date have run a scan and no amount of restarts fixes the issue. Norton really has gone down hill recently especially with all the pop ups to allow things constantly which never used to happen at all.

Hello @NikDan

If your Norton is not working as expected after you’ve tried Reset to Default & Repair Norton & clean re-install Norton 360…then…reach out to Norton support.

For Remote Desktop to be able to access a Windows computer, you have to have at least the Windows Pro edition on the computer you wish to connect with. A Windows Home version does not come with the Remote Desktop feature. So Maybe Norton recognises a Windows Home version and automatically disables the Remote Access Protection feature???
