I use it but with one exception.
It scans the USB Drive I have in my Docking Station, THEN it scans the C: Drive of the PC the Docking Station is attached to. What an awful waste of time.
Hi, I have Norton deluxe version 24.12 (under win10) and I disabled by mistake the offer to scan inserted USB drive (there was some option Do not offer this in future or something like this in the small pop up window which was opened each time I inserted an USB stick in the port). I can neither find Computer Scans, nor the USB Drive Scan setting. There is also no Scans and Risks tab. The Antivirus settings, is under Settings/ Advanced settings/Computer, but no possibility to turn back the (accidently) turned off feature to offer scan of inserted USB drive. I go through the whole My norton and Settings menu (opened from taskbar) and I did not find this setting anywhere. The official support told me to reinstall the app (?!?). I do not believe, that a feature, that was turned off can not be turned on again. Any idea, please?
Hello @IB1111
Um, did you try Reset to Default?
as I recall…Oct 2024…Reset to Default worked for me here & here
Caveat: as I recall…I’ve not tested since.
Note: as I recall with Reset to Default. I’ve needed to re-setup my Cloud Backup
Thank you, reset helped, the functionality is back, but I am wondering, if this is the one and only solution as by resetting, all settings were lost as there is no export/save settings possibility.
