It used to be that when you received a notification that your private information was being shared on the Dark Web Monitoring that you could click "This Is Not Me" and it would remove the notification and stop sending you alerts for those items removed. Now there are 3 notifications that I can not get rid of. The only option is to "Request Removal" which takes you to the offending parties' sites. The items are not me and I do not have access to that other person's information in order to have it removed from the web, hence stopping Norton from sending me alerts and retaining this data. How do I remove it from my account? Also, can't get support online because the chat window won't open.....YES I did allow cookies and gave Norton full access, shut down all blockers....still will not open chat window.

- Do you run Norton 360 with LifeLock plan?

Thanks but I’m not looking for an answer to my comment about not being able to use chat.
Hmm....your words [here] sounded, to me, like you were:
I've read Chat window will not open...from users...so, sounded like you were asking for help reaching support.
Caveat: I've never received Dark Web Monitoring notice.
No, not referring to privacy monitor. Didn’t say that I was being directed to the dark web, either. It is part of Norton-“Dark Web Monitoring “ check yours via your account and you’ll get it.
Thanks but I’m not looking for an answer to my comment about not being able to use chat.
Are you referring to Privacy Monitor? That is data brokers who have accumulated your info and are selling it for profit.
You can request removal from those sites but your data will pop back up on the web because they change their company name and recreate your data on a new site.
I doubt Norton is sending you to the Dark Web to request removal. Dark Web Monitoring just alerts you that something has been found on the dark web. You also would need a browser like TOR to visit those sites.
