I have a slightly differernt destination problem. I backup to a removeable drive and it is all good. However, my system "D" drive is listed as another backup location and there is nothing there at all. Right clicking it in manage destination yields entirely grayed out commands. No matter where I go on the Norton interface there is nothing listed on this D drive. So far as I can tell there is absolutely nothing related to Ghost on my D drive, which is also being backed up.
How can I simply delete this D drive as a backup destination?

Hi gselvo,
Welcome to the Norton Community. Can you specify your exact version of Ghost from Help > About? What OS and SP do you have and is it 32 or 64 bit?
You mentioned your system drive is D, can you confirm this? C would normally be your system drive.
Can you clarify all the drives in your system to include type, size, etc? What is your backup drive and what type is it?
Please also explain how your backup jobs are configured. Do you do image backups (Backup My Computer) or File and Folder backups?
I have asked the Moderator to move this post to a new thread for better exposure. A link will be left behind here so you know where to find your new post.
Hope this helps and best wishes.
