I just want to make sure I correctly understand the result of removing files that have already been backed up by Norton Online Backup:
If I remove files from Norton Online Backup using the "Purge Files" command, will the files still remain on my PC or would they be removed from my PC as well? My understanding is that the Purge command will remove those files from what was backed up by Norton Online Backup, but will NOT remove those files from my PC. Is that correct?
Recommendation: Revise the header of the "Purge Files" page -- the page that an owner is directed to after selecting the "Files Actions / Purge Files" command on the owner's NOBU main page. The header presently reads: "Purge Files From Owner-PC". Two people could easily read the header differently -- (1) purge files that are physically located on Norton's end that were uploaded from an owner's PC, or (2) purge files that are physically stored on an owner's PC, files that were uploaded to NOBU. This forum and NOBU's help page make the distinction, but it would be much more convenient for the owner to understand the distinction up front without having to seek clarification. Better wording of the header on the "Purge Files" page to improve clarification might be: "Purge Files From Owner-PC (will not purge any files physically located on owner's PC)".
