I an currently running Norton Internet Security 21.6.0.32 on 3 PC's. In past years I have updated NIS by buying a new copy of NIS ( but for the current year) and simply using the authorisation key from the box without doing any reinstallation. This option was cheaper than following the Norton renewal path. I now find that Norton are not issuing a new version of Internet security for 2015 but have instead replaced this with a different product called Norton Security. Q1 Can I renew my NIS by buying Norton Security from a retailer and simply entering the authorisation key as in previous years? Q2 If this will not work (because they are essentially different products) then what is my cheapest option for renewal? Q3 Are there any differences in the protection offered by these two products.
