I was discussing in an ealier thread that I was going to transfer my subscription from Norton 2005 to Norton 2010.

I decided to manage my subscription online at the renewal center at:
http://renewalcenter.symantec.com
After I log in, I click on Manage Subscriptions. According to this page, Manage Subscriptions "Allows you to restore a lost subscription or transfer a current subscription "
The next page tells me then that "You do not have the ActiveX software installed on your system that we require for you to manage your subscriptions. Please click on the download button to continue. Please note that this will start the installation process."
I follow the instructions given and I download the .msi file.
Question: What are the steps after this?
When I log out, re-start the computer and log back in, the same message as above, regarding not having ActiveX software, is there.
What is the problem here and what am I not doing correctly?
