Renewal date format

I received a renewal email saying it was due on 10/05/2020.  When I checked my Norton account it said it expired on 05/11/2020. After waiting for 20 minutes on support, it turns out the email has an English date format and the account has an american date format.  I thought it was a spam email and deleted the first one.  When the 2nd email arrived I thought I had been hacked  I then ordered copies of bank statements to see when I paid last year.

Your helpline staff could save a lot of time if you standardised your date formats

Im using Norton Life Lock in the UK

this is nothing to do with a core router as I don't know what one is.  It is to do with the email I received from Norton and my renewal date

Hello. How is this related to the Norton Core Router? If you aren't in the US, Australia or New Zealand Core isn't supported in countries other than those three. What is the Norton product you are using? Please advise.
