Why is it when I get renewal rates of $69.99 from my installed Norton 360 and I can go online as a NEW
customer and get it for $59.99 ??
To me that's penalizing existing customers 0⌐0
So, I will look for another virus protection provider.

Renewal rates are "peculiar" to say the least but there's nothing we can do about it -- it's marketing and we are technical! (and not Norton staff but users like you unless our names are in red!)
But before you abandon Norton please check Amazon and the weekend flyers from the usual stores (if you are in the USA or many other countries) since a new copy is often heavily discounted and today you can buy a new copy of N360 V4 for 3 PCs for $49.99 from one well known location as well as for $39.99 after an instant discount of $40 but that could be different tomorrow when the flyer prices change.
In fact I've just found it on the Norton Website for $39.99 !
That is after a $40 mail in rebatae that gives you a prepaid VISA card which is usual these days and I found worked well.
is the link so you can see and print the rebate form if you wish.
The only thing to bear in mine with buying a new copy and applying the new KEY is that it replaces the unexpired subscription days and does not add to them as an online renewal from Norton does. But all lthat means is that you wait until a couple of days before your subscription expires and then click on RENEW and enter the new code.
Just make sure that you buy the same version of N360 as you have -- Standard or Premier.
I hope that helps you decide to stay with Norton -- it really is a very good program and you will be able to update to the V5 that will be released shortly without any charge.
