Running XP Pro SP 3. Using ghost 15.0. Have used ghost for years and years.
Had many different error codes and now, when I try to restore, I make it to 2% and get 800012 error.
Have been on the phone with India for hours. No help yet. Keep getting booted to a higher level of support, which is good. But no resolution.
Had 2 phone calls that said they had tried to reach me 3 times and could not.
Strange as my cell phone is on my hip 24/7 and no voice mails from support.
In checking other posts this error 800012 has happened MANY times before on Ghost versions 14 & v12 and with Norton Backup Exec.
Wonder why it has not been fixed it???
Backed up a NTFS SATA 500mb drive to a NTFS SATA 2 TB drive and now tring to restore to a brand new 2TB drive.
No RAID involved.
Have seen some posts about using "Error Fix" and PCTOOLS Reg Fix to straighten it out but I'm afriad to do anything that might make it worse.
I'd send my drive to Norton if that would resolve it.
Any and all assistance is appreciated.
