Restore window mail and contacts from external back up to new laptop

Moved to Norton 360 Board for better exposure.

Hi,

 

my laptop running vista just died. Fortunately i have been running norton 360 regularly and need to restore my contacts and emails from window mail (ex outlook express) ontoa  new pc. I have one old laptop with vista and a newer one with window 7. ideally I would like to restore all my emails, contact and various files to the latter ...

i have been able to restore my document and simple files like my pictures but cannot seem to find the emails or contacts

Have you removed the trial or any other security software on the new computer?

 

Use the process below to remove your previous security programme.  You’ll need to download and save the removal tool from the security software’s main website or use the singularlabs website on the link below and choose from the list.

 

http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software

 

Uninstall using windows add/remove programme.

Restart the computer.

Run the removal tool.

Restart the computer.

 

This process should be done for each security software to be uninstalled, meaning one at a time.
