I recently had to restore my laptop and did so from the Norton Backup which I did the day before. However I notice that none of my bookmarks in firefox or my favorites in IE have been restored. Can they be?
Thank you

I apologize if this is a silly question but I don't even know where to begin to know what path to put in and where. Can you please assist me.
Thank you
Ok, so first, open the restore files window from the N360 product and select the backup in which the bookmarks were backed up. Then, on the same restore files window, type "url" in the search for files to restore box and click search. Select all the bookmark and restore to the original location(select yes if it asks to overwrite). On the restore results window you will be able to see the path of the folder to which the bookmark was restored. In Win 7, it would be something like C:\Users\"Your windows Username"\Favorites\abc.url.
Now, click on the start menu button in your windows and check the user name appearing on the top of that menu. If the name on the menu matches with "Your windows Username" in the above mentoned restored path then bookmarks should start appearing under your Internet explorer.
If the names are different, then copy all the bookmarks from the restored files path mentioned above and paste it under C:\Users\"Your New windows username as seen in the start menu"\Favorites\ .After this, your internet explorer should list all the bookmarks. Run a backup of your favorites again.
Hope this helps.
