No I haven't tried either of those features in HiBit Uninstaller. I have a license to Revo Pro 3.2.1 but as that is no longer supported and the new Pro versions are subscription based I tossed up whether I would be better off sticking with the old Pro, or using the latest free version. In that thread you mentioned @ wilders', I was recommenced HiBit and I haven't turned back.
Your mileage may differ though. Buyer beware... even with free software.
I've been using HiBit Uninstaller lately. It seems to do a pretty thorough job but you do get a yellow UAC warning when you open it. That doesn't bother me too much though. It is free and no ads or up sells.
Thanks for the recommendation. I noticed that the HiBit Uninstaller homepage lists Forced Uninstall and Installation Monitoring as two of the included features, which are not available with Revo Uninstaller unless you purchase the paid Revo Uninstaller Pro version. Have you ever tried using either of these advanced HiBit tools? I haven't been able to find much user feedback about this tool, other than a few comments posted in the Wilders Security Forum thread Uninstaller Software and one review posted at https://davescomputertips.com/hibit-uninstaller-freeware-review/. In the mean time I've downloaded the portable version of HiBit v2.6.25 to a USB thumb drive and will test drive some of the extra tools that HiBit offers that aren't included with Revo Uninstaller Free.
I always use Revo Uninstaller Free Portable in Advanced removal mode and it's always done a good job of completely removing registry and file remnants left behind by the native (built-in) uninstaller without causing any issues. The one possible exception was a 2012 uninstall of an old version of Malwarebytes v1.60 (see my comments <here> in the Tech Outpost) although I can't say for certain that Revo Uninstaller was the cause of the problem.
