Thanks Krusty for alerting us to this - I have v1.95 and FileHippo didn't pick up v2. Thanks too to Huw and Imacri for their interesting comments re Forced Uninstall.
I've just installed v2 and was amused (?) to see that it didn't remove v1.95. I'll use v2 to remove it!
I sent an e-mail to support @ revouninstaller.com and received an auto-reply and ticket # but no official response. I'll post back if they ever reply back to me.
I received an e-mail from Revo this morning confirming that "Forced Uninstall is indeed only available in the Pro version". The product comparison chart at http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download_compare.html has been corrected (although I e-mailed them back about other errors on the chart).

I think you are probably right that this is an error -- have you asked them?

I don't get a context menu anywhere, at least in Windows 7
You have to right-click the program from within the Revo Uninstaller GUI. You will only see the option for a Forced MSI Uninstall if you select a program that was installed using a .msi installer.
Third-party programs like CCleaner that use their own .exe installer will not have this option for a Forced MSI Uninstall in the pop-up context menu.

Like you, all I can see in my free installed Version 2.0.0 in the Help file if I search on "forced" is
The main command you can use on the list of installed programs is Uninstall.
If during the uninstall the build-in uninstaller of the programs runs "Change" or "Repair" command and tries to reinstall or repair the program instead of uninstalling it then you can use the command Forced MSI Uninstall. This command is visible in the context menu only for the MSI(Microsoft Installer) programs, which default uninstall command is not Uninstall. So if you experience such problem, just cancel the build-in uninstaller of the program and the uninstall wizard of Revo Uninstaller and start it again using this command from the context menu
So if you can understand that ......

I don't think that reference has changed from the previous version since I remember being puzzled about it before!
Hi huwyngr:
Here's a partial screenshot of the old product comparison chart for Revo Uninstaller v1.95 (released 04-Jul-2013). There's no mention of Forced Uninstall for the previous free version.
I don't think that reference has changed from the previous version since I remember being puzzled about it before! My thought was that it meant that, like Malwarebytes, the Pro version is there and all you need to do is pay for it and activate, not uninstall/install new version.
I just got the new version as an update on my WIN 10 testbed installation but have not had a chance to check it out other than disliking the bare look -- a la Norton? -- and shock at seeing the detailed listing instead of the Icons I'm used to. But I quickly found out how to change that!
I'm a bit confused about the meaning of "forced uninstall" in the new Revo Uninstaller Free v2.0.0. I always run the portable version from a thumb drive so I'm not 100% certain that my comments below apply to the free version users can install on their hard drive.
I checked the Help section in my portable Revo Uninstaller Free v2.0.0 and the only reference I could find in the User's Guide .PDF to "forced" is the following:
"If during the uninstall the build-in uninstaller of the programs runs "Change" or "Repair" command and tries to reinstall or repair the program instead of uninstalling it then you can use the command Forced MSI Uninstall. This command is visible in the context menu only for the MSI (Microsoft Installer) programs, which default uninstall command is not Uninstall."
Is the product comparison chart misleading? I can't imagine that Revo would add a true Forced Uninstall (i.e., remove remnants of already uninstalled programs) to their free product, since this feature has always been one of the main selling features of the Pro (paid) version.
