Revo Uninstaller Freeware version 2.4.1 October 03, 2022

October 03, 2022 Revo Uninstaller Freeware version 2.4.1

https://www.revouninstaller.com/version-history/

The v2.4.1 change log states in part "Updated setup script" so perhaps there was a glitch with the v2.4.0 installer.

That would fit in with what Norton referred to. First time I said block it one time; next time I told it ignore and when I checked Revo it showed the 2.4.1. update.

as test:
Filename: revosetup.exe
Full Path: C:\Users\user\Desktop\revosetup.exe

Version
2.4.1.0

Hi huwyngr:

According to the change log at https://www.revouninstaller.com/version-history/ both v2.4.0 and v2.4.1 were released today (03-Oct-2022).  The v2.4.1 change log states in part "Updated setup script" so perhaps there was a glitch with the v2.4.0 installer.

I use Revo Uninstaller Free Portable (i.e., I download RevoUninstaller_Portable.zip, not the self-extracting revosetup.exe installer) so I can't tell you if there was a problem with the v2.4.0 installer version that required Revo to pull it from their download servers earlier today and replace it with the v2.4.1 installer.

Norton blocked update -- something to do with VSU and deletion I think but I told it to allow this once ......

Checked version and it now is 2.4.1
