Need help with a constant runtime error when trying to uninstall games while running my WildTangent Games app. I am using Norton Internet Security. Thanks
Ich habe seit zwei Tagen beim Hochfahren meines Computers die Fehlermeldung: Runtime error!
Programm:C:/Programm F...
This application has requesteed the Runtime to terminate it in an unusul way. usw.
Brauche also verständliche Informationen.
Danke aber schon mal für die Hilfe und ein gesegnetes neues Jahr mit gut laufenden Computern!

Hi kimndelawhere:
Welcome to the Norton Community!
AFAIK, I really can't see how the two are related. Is NIS notifying you of a threat?
You might wish to google for removal instructions.
It is possible that the Installer is corrupted. Perhaps you can re-install WT and then uninstall these games again.
Hope this helps.

Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
R6025
-pure virtual function call
I have installed Norton 360 and reinstalled, tried to restore prior version of Norton 360 and still get error. I have uninstalled I.E. and went with a earlier version, still received errors so I upgraded back to I.E. 9.
Please any help would be appreciated.

Welcome,
Try this;
Download the Norton Reemove and Reinstall Tool, reboot, run the tool, reboot and report back
Thanks

Do not uninstall IE9 again.
What is the source for the installation of Norton i.e. how or where did you get it, is it cd or downloaded executable etc?
when you reinstalled did you use NRT?
I would be tempted to reset IE settings but if you are not happy to do that, then load Chrome or another browser and see if that reports problem or not. If not, then it points to an IE issue, and I think it is worth resetting IE9.
Does the error show if you disable or uninstall Norton product? If the script error happens without Norton product, then it can be an issue with IE. Try to get latest Windows Updates and check for this problem again.
