I purchased the Norton 360 a few days ago. After installing, I noticed that there are pop up in my safari, and redirecting websites whenever I go to a simple website like NYtime.com, best buy.com and cultofmac.com. When I attempt to go to any site, I get redirected to Norton support. safari will open the site, but only after a new tab pops up and redirects me to the support page for Norton. Looking at my browser history on my MacBook Pro, I noticed the below site was there, and I know I didn't go to this site. Please note that I did install the browser extension Norton safe web plus.
I assumed that with the Norton 360 and safe web plus, I wouldn't get these pop ups. It's driving me crazy. Can someone please help?

How to remove R.srvtrck.com redirect (Virus Removal Guide)
R.srvtrck.com is part of an advertising service that website publishers can use to generate revenue on their sites. Unfortunately, there are malicious programs that are redirecting users to these R.srvtrck.com ads without the permission of the publisher in order to generate revenue.
Less than reputable sites can display malicious ads that redirect your browser to the R.srvtrck.com pop-up ads to generate advertising revenue. If this happens, you can close the page and install an ad blocker to block the malicious ads. However, if you continuously see pop-ups like R.srvtrck.com pop-up ads, then your computer might be infected with a malicious program, and you need to scan your device for adware and remove it.
The below R.srvtrck.com removal instructions are for Windows users, however, we also have an Android Guide and a Mac Guide which should help clean up your device.
