I use chrome as my main browser and I also have an extension called "WOT" which gives me a site rating based on user input. While this is an ok extension, it can be manipulated as all the ratings are generated from visitors to that specific site. I would love to see a norton safe search add on provided as I feel it would be far more reliable and trustworthy. I have used safe search on firefox and while I liked it I didnt like the fact that the icons were so big and it added an extra bar on my browser beneath bookmarks. Does anyone know if safe web will become available for chrome as an extension? Thanks for the help.

FYI, the idea has already been on our list and it is currently being evaluated.
It is not just Safe Web feature but many other features (e.g., AntiPhishing and Identity Safe) are also being evaluated internally. Will keep you posted.

I use Chrome as my main browser, and didn't even know about these green check marks that appear in IE! So am I right in thinking that NONE of these currently work in Chrome: Safe Web site safety green check marks, Antiphishing and Identity Safe? If so - I'm shocked and horrified! When will they be available? I would not have purchased Norton if I'd known it wasn't compatible with Chrome. Thanks for any assistance you can provide!
Many solutions provide URL Filtering for chrome. BitDefender IS and TS, BitDefender TrafficLight, which would be a revolution in safe browsing, kaspersky AV and IS are well known with their multi-browser support. Norton SafeWeb is compatible only with IE and FF and not completely because IE9 was launched in March, your compatability fix would be ready in early May.
