Safe Web is posting a bogus TREAT WARNING for a site for which i am responsible. The file they quote simply does not exist. (it would appear to be a temp file that may or may not have existed - no way i can tell). I have had the site checked by several organisations and there is NO THEREAT.
This Warning is costing my employer business and reputation.
Norton help is less than helpful in getting this error fixed.
I have had to jump though all sorts of hoops, put files on the site and register my details before anyone would really talk to me.
This seems to be a scam to get people to give Norton their details. - I have spoke to support every day for almost a week and escalated the issue but nothing gets done.
my employer is talking to solicitors about suing Norton for compensation for loss of income and loss of good will. but still Norton will not simply take down the erroneous warning.
I see online there are many people suffering this issue.
What on earth can be done to speed things up and get this Norton Error removed?
