Ths safety minder on my sons computer disables itself.I know he doesnt do it has ive been at his computer when it happens.Today it has happened twice.I have uninstalled and reinstalled to see if this helps.On uninstall i got a error message coulnt read it as the computer was restarting.I have downloaded safety minder and reinstalled it.Is there a reason why it disables itself.
when you say that the safety minder is "disabled", I'd like to know a little more info.
Is the safety minder icon present in the system tray, or is it missing.
If it's present, is it grey in color?
When the safety minder is disabled, the icon will appear grey. If it's missing from the system tray, that's an indication of something else.
Can you specify the behavior you are seeing please?
I'm having the same type of problem that is happening frequently lately and I know it's not my kids shutting it down. In my case, the Safety Minder icon is gone from the system tray.
