Safety Minder does not recognise it's installed/password does not work

I installed Safety Minder on a netbook, running Win XP, two days ago but i can’t assign a profile to it as my password doesn’t work and i get an error message saying it is not installed on the device. I can’t uninstall it as it will not recognise my password. My password is recognised by both the main OnlineFamily website as well as by the Safety Minder I installed on an identical netbook at the same time. Can you advise me what to do please

i followed the fix and safety minder now seems to be running fine

i should clarify that it was the fix provided via the link from KatieQ that I used
