Anyone have this issue? It says “Set up Protection”, when i click it, it goes to the other screen and shows green checks, but when i go back to main dashboard, it still says set up protection. It does say they are active. Need the green check. Why does it do this. i tried restarting, did a reinstall, did a sign out and in and nothing fixes it. Anyone have any suggestions? Has been in a case with Norton for 4 days now. Another annoying bug i guess. Always something.
This ticket is still open. They had said 2-3 business days but this has been open for about 5 business days now. it is with level 2 and I ask for updates but Norton can only say that the case is still open. They provide zero details only that it is still with level 2. Also, on the left black bar , it says Set up Protection. i click that and it runs through a proces and then says.. “You are all set.” So why does it then say, “Set up Protection”. Strange. Hope level 2 fixes this soon. has been a while here. They say they will call but no call and no updates yet after over 5 days.
OK I solved this one! I ran a Norton Repair and then after that still had the issue, but then i did a restart and it was corrected. Now i dont see that silly SET UP PROTECTION thing on left panel and in scam protection. i also gained a protection. I beat Level 2 to this. i am surprised no one said to run a repair and restart. Odd. i put that in my notes. Cmon Norton, provide better suggestions please.
