Scan buttons greyed out

On Norton Internet Security tab when I attempt to Run a Scan the option buttons are greyed out & not useable.  I have 1024 days remaining on my subscription.  It is also greyed out in the options on the left of the screen underneath Run Live Update.

 

My account on Norton is enabled.

 

I have Norton Internet Security 2008 using Vista Home Premium. 

 

I am logged on as Administrator.
