The file count on my scans doesn't match the file count from other software.
For example, one of my drives has 7400 files according to FileTree, but when I scan it Norton tells me that it scanned 9800 files.
Why would that be?
I went into the scan history to check if there were any files that were skipped and there were not... otherwise the file count would have been off by even more!!
In aggregate, when scanning my entire system, the file count is more than double that reported by FileTree.
