scan will not start.

I'm tired with my NIS random problem in where I want to run an on-demand scan (Including any custom, full and removable drive  scans), it just won't work... Nothing happen when i clicked on the button, any button that can initiate scan including customisation scan will not work too.

 

Everytime I probably need to restart the whole laptop to get it working.

 

Don't suggest update. I let my my live update run automatically and I just completed one before I posted this, I have the latest version installed (21.1.0.18), I've tried the Norton Removal and Re-install tool for a numoroes times. None of these solve the problem except in where the NRnR tool will only help my NIS 2014 to run normally for a while before the above problem repeat again.

 

Any suggestion?
