I called Norton to see if it is possible to change the schedule for downloading Live Update on my new iMac. It is currently downloading when the machine boots up. It would be better if I could schedule it to download at lunch or some other time that won't conflict with application programs loading and my external drive backing up files. But the Norton rep claims that option does not exist for Mac computers. He suggested I make this post on Norton Community as a possible way to let the engineers know it is something I would like in the future.
