Schutzbericht

Hallo,

wie man auf dem Bild erkennen können, werden in meinem Schutzbericht keine Daten erfasst. Wie kann ich das ändern?

LG

Hello @Helmut_Ebert
Is this recent install?
Battery → Unrestricted?
Did you restart phone + Sign out/In?
Did you clean install + allowing requested permissions?

================================

On your Samsung Galaxy A35 (SM-A356B), that message usually means the Norton app is either:

  • not fully signed into your Norton account,
  • missing one or more permissions,
  • recently installed, or
  • not yet generating enough activity for the Protection Report.

According to Norton Support, it can take up to 30 days after installation before data begins appearing in the Protection Report. Norton says the device must also be:

  • connected to the Internet,
  • signed into the Norton app,
  • and fully set up with protection features enabled. (Norton Support)

Try these steps on your Samsung:

  1. Open the Norton 360 app.

  2. Verify you are signed into the correct Norton account.

  3. Run:

    • App Security scan
    • Wi-Fi Security check
    • Web Protection / Safe Web setup
  4. Make sure all requested permissions are enabled:

    • Accessibility
    • VPN connection approval
    • Usage access
    • Notification permission
  5. Open Android Settings → Apps → Norton 360:

    • Battery → set to Unrestricted
    • Mobile data → allow background data
  6. Restart the phone afterward.

Then use the phone normally for a while:

  • browse websites,
  • connect to Wi-Fi networks,
  • run scans,
  • and let Norton LiveUpdate run.

The Protection Report tracks activity like:

  • apps scanned,
  • websites checked,
  • risky Wi-Fi detection,
  • and device security alerts. (Norton Support)

If the report still shows “No data collected” after several days:

  • sign out of Norton and sign back in,
  • or uninstall/reinstall the app from Google Play Store.

You can also verify the report location inside the app:

  • Open Norton 360
  • Swipe up or tap Your Protection Report near the bottom. (Norton Support)

On Samsung Android devices like your Galaxy A35, the most important permissions for Norton Mobile Security reporting/features are usually:

  • Accessibility
  • VPN permission
  • Usage Access
  • Notification access
  • Background battery exemption
  • “Appear on top” / overlay permission

Without some of these enabled, Protection Report / Device Report Card data may stay empty because Norton cannot monitor web activity, app installs, Wi-Fi scans, or scam detection events properly.

You can check them here on Samsung:

  • Settings → Apps → Norton 360 → Permissions
  • Settings → Apps → Special access
  • Settings → Battery → Background usage limits

Android 11+ can automatically revoke permissions for apps not frequently used. Norton specifically mentions this in their support guidance.

So if your Protection Report suddenly stopped updating, Samsung/Android may have silently removed one of Norton’s permissions.

Samsung’s One UI may be part of the problem:

  • battery optimization,
  • sleeping apps,
  • and automatic permission revocation
can silently disable Norton’s Accessibility or background monitoring after updates or inactivity.
