Hello everyone:
Fresh Win 7 64 bit Pro install with NAV. Native Windows screensaver (mystify) periodically interrupted by some Norton process which I'm unable to identify because the message persists for less than 1/2 second. I'm able to see the Norton logo though.
i7 Ivy Bridge using native Intel Video with LATEST DRIVERS. NAV is completely UP-TO-DATE. Win 7 Completely Updated ...
Thanks in advance for comments/suggestions,

Hello jda818
Welcome to the Norton Forum
It's been a whle since I have used NAV. If you have under General Setting,-----Silent Mode Settings, I would turn those on and put the screen saver on the exception list you wwill see if you use the blue donfigure setting. Thanks
I recently "automatically" updated to 360. I am using Windows 7. I had the same problem: the Windows native screensaver was being interrupted by Norton idle tasks, and when the screensaver shut off, the idle tasks then aborted.
I went to Norton's Settings > Administrative Settings and TURNED OFF "Norton Task Notification"
This ended my problem.

Wow, thanks, seems to have worked!
Thanks again,
