AI Overview
The message “You are unable to access ssl1.prod.s1search.co” usually indicates a block, often managed by Cloudflare, resulting from security restrictions, IP reputation issues, or misconfigured DNS
. This error often appears when a site owner has set strict rules or when your IP address has been flagged as suspicious.
Here are steps to troubleshoot and fix this issue:
Immediate Workarounds
Use Incognito/Private Mode: Try accessing the website in a private browsing window to rule out cookie or extension issues.
Switch Networks: If on Wi-Fi, try using mobile data, or vice versa, to see if your IP address is the issue.
Try a VPN: A VPN can sometimes bypass regional or IP-based blocks, though it may also trigger security blocks.
Troubleshooting Steps
Clear Browser Data: Clear your browser’s cache, cookies, and SSL state.
Disable Browser Extensions: Disable security extensions, ad blockers, or VPN extensions that might interfere with connections.
Check Date/Time: Ensure your computer’s date and time are accurate, as incorrect settings can cause SSL certificate authentication to fail.
Check Firewall/Antivirus: Temporarily disable firewall or security software to check if they are blocking the domain.

I have cleared data, cookies etc. It allows me to visit You Tube and nine.com.au but cannot search for anything. All extensions are disabled, I barely had any.
computer is using ethernet, no wifi on this desktop pc.
It blocks everything else. Chrome works ok. I can search but wants a security check.
Disabled firewall but no luck. I put all settings on internet to low, still no luck.
Private browsing still makes no difference.
I feel this shouldn’t be very hard and I could solve it…..But I havent been able to.
I have been clicking on things and they work, takes me to a page but any search does not work.
I went into the search engine and changed from Norton to Google, problem solved. Norton search for some reason has changed and wont allow any form of searching except when searching for a map. Ridiculous….what changed?
