'Select All' option for Instant Messaging

Hi

 

Could you add a feature to 'Select' and 'Unselect All' on the Instant Messaging Settings Page, in the near future?

 

I want to quickly grant and remove messaging ability from my daughter, but at the moment I have to select  and deselect every single one of her Contacts every time.

I second that request. So far I have only had to do it once but it was hard work cutting off IM while leaving internet access for homework.

Would an alternative be to go to the settings for Web and block online chat? Does that block IM? Does it block other things we might want to leave?

Hi dgardner,

 

That blocks the Web browser based clients of IM.
