I have just done a clean install of Windows 7 and need to re-download my Norton Anti Virus software. It currently has about 340 days left on it before it expires on me. I thought that I had taken note of the correct details to be able to download again, but evidently not. I copied this serial number KG4K3YQ7XTC4 and these version details 16.8.0.41 but none of this info seems to be able to help me download my software again.
Can anyone advise ?
You will need to go to www.mynortonaccount.com, and sign in with your email and password. Your product will be listed there with the activation key available when you click on the entry. Copy it down or preferably copy and paste it to Notepad.
Your NAV is 2 years out of date. You are eligible for a free upgrade to the latest version of Norton Antivirus, which is 2011. You can download it here. The last version of 2009 was only just compatible with Win 7. It may be much more problematic by now, and you may still have the Win 7 service pack 1 to install.

Not quite solved yet.
I have managed to locate my version of Norton internet Security which expires in Feb 2012, along with the serial and the product key. But for the life of me I can't find where to download it from ?? Am I missing something very obvious ?

When you say that you have located your version, do you mean 2009, or 2011? I gave you the download link for 2011 in my post. Click on that, and you will be able to save the download. Once installed, insert your present key to activate.

Do you really want to download your older version? Why not download the current 2011 version, using the link to NIS11 above since you can activate it with your older KEY and get the remainder of the subscription.

In your beginning posts you had mentioned NAV, so Delphinium gave you the link for the newest NAV 2011. Later on in the thread you are mentioning INS. In case this is the problem, here is the link for the latest version of NIS 2011.

Please run live update until no more updates and then reboot.
If NIS 2011 is the program you want to use now, please click on my link. If you want NAV 2011, then use Delphineum's link. Which ever program you want to use, please remember to run live update after you install it. Please use the key for the program that you have according to My Norton Account.
