The only fix I have found to remedy the “issues” with v24 is to remove V24 and reinstall V22.
V24 keeps trying to install on my network, and I have to continually remove it. I went through all corners of V24 and I was not sure if many protection items that are explicitly shown in v22 were operating, so v24 is removed until it is known to work. I run a small network, 10+ devices, and unless this new version (v24) is made optional and the original v22 is updated I will not be using Norton 360 when it expires. I have done IT for decades and security is not something to “experiment” with, too much at risk for questionable products.

Same here. Since the automatic update to ‘new Norton’ (UI) nothing but inexplicable sluggy windows, hardly able to switch between applications, switching to Chrome shows all lightblue window, taskmgr even hardly responding. Odd that CPU or RAM don’t report heavy usage. A program was removed without warning (MS Process Explorer), exclusion list don’t seem to be converted from former version.
Don’t have (or want to invest) time to test what Norton settings would improve performance. I have had it with Norton, uninstalled from PC and business notebook. See how that goes.
Same problems as others on this thread. Laptop is unusable. Deinstalled Norton and everything is good. Won’t be renewing next year. I have been a loyal user for 20 years.
