I have an old laptop which is meant to be protected by Norton Internet Security. Recently (9th January 2015), my subscription was automatically renewed and I thought I ought to update the virus definitions. When I tried to do this, a relatively small amount of data -- small because the machine hadn't been used for 200+ days -- was downloaded (about 13Mbytes) and I was told to restart the laptop, which I did. When I then tried to use Live Update again, I got a window saying (in a big red box), "Completed", and adding, "LiveUpdate Finished - No Updates Found" plus, "Service is Expired". I don't know why the service has expired, but if it has, why was money taken to renew it? Any suggestions as to what I might do will be welcome. (Note that I'm far more interested in getting the virus protection up and running than getting a refund.)
