Should I enable Smart Definitions in NIS 2011 or let it remain disabled (by default)

Hi,

I have been using NIS 2011 for the past few months and recently had to get the system formatted and the OS and applications re-installed afresh due to some issues in my Win 7 HP (64-bit). After I re-installed NIS 2011 the Live Update downloaded an update file of about 146 Mb in size. However, after this was downloaded and installed, I realized there is an option called Smart Definitions in Settings which is turned off by default. Read in NIS documentaiton that when this feature is turned on, it downloads a much smaller file (yes, it downloaded a 66 Mb file, but after previous Live Update downloaded and installed a relatively large 146 Mb file already). Want to know if I should keep Smart Definitions turned on or put it off as was the default setting. I have a fast broadband internet connection so downloading large files is not a constraint, if I must.

Regards,
