The website for a charity I work with - www.ge_tkidsg_oing.com (remove the underscores) is listed with a warning in Norton Safeweb and is ready for reevaluation.
However when I try to verify the site I keep getting the following message -
Web site ownership verification failed. Copy the auth file to the root directory of your Web site or copy the meta_tag into your Web site`s home page.
I've tried everything, with and without meta tags, with and without auth file. The site had a 301 to the www. version for a while but I've tried with that switched off. I've tried removing from profile and adding again etc.
At the moment I've got the auth file in place at both www. and non-www. versions of the site with an exception to the 301 rule. The link in the email to the auth file works.
Can you please check and help us get the site evaluated again. We are a small charity losing important visitors!
