Smart Firewall is blocking a xp computer in my network which has windows 7 machines

I have a network of three computers.  Two windows 7 and one xp machines.  The two windows 7 machine can see and access each other.  the xp machine shows in the network map but windows 7 machines cannot access xp machine.  The xp machine can see the windows 7 machine in the network map but get an access denied message.   All are in the same workgroup The two windows 7 machines connect via wireless and the xp machine connects directly to my wireless router. When I look into the Security History I see the following Unauthorized  (Access blocked access process data)

Actor C:\windows\System32\conhost.exe

Actor PID 10216p

target C:\program files(x86) Norton Security Suite\engine\20.2.0.19\cltlmh.exe

target 3588

how to I modify smart firewall settings to allow this computer access the xp computer on my network

What do I need to do to make my windows 7 machines talk to my xp machine and xp machine talk to my windows 7 machines?

thanks in advance

Welcome,

Have you looked at the network scuurity map to see that all of the devices are listed with the correct trust levels and that they are set to share information?

Thanks

Hi davidfstoklosa,

It is probably not a firewall issue.  The "access blocked" entries are Norton Product Tamper Protection events, which are benign and unrelated to your issue.  Networking Windows 7 and Windows XP involves some special considerations which are discussed here:
