Social Networking 101 is needed

Hello, I love the interface of this software...much better than netnanny and others i have tried so far. Where i am lost is how can I view or monitor social networking usage for my child (specially facebook). I have turned on all the tabs and settings to on.

Being a holiday she was allowed to use Internet  for a good period of time (well she used it all for facebook). What all I saw at the logging was

What email address she used to login; Age she used was blank and nothing else.

Can you please help if I should be able to see much more on this as well as I cannot find in clear simple words or with examples what a parent can see or not see. I am comparing it with netnanny where I can see friends.

please help.

thanks

hi topguy123,

Please check the following help page in the OnlineFamily.Norton site for information on what all you can see on your child's Social Networking activities:

https://onlinefamily.norton.com/familysafety/help/social-networking.jsp

Follow the links in the above help page and you will find more information.

About the age being blank in the social networking activities that you see on the web site - The age your child uses on the social networking site will be captured when your child visits his/her Profile settings page in that social networking site.

If your child registers for a new account in networking sites like Bebo, Facebook, Friendster, hi5, MySpace, myYearbook, Netlog, Orkut, Tagged, Xanga, Windows Live Spaces after you installed Norton Safety Minder then the age with which your child registered will be captured.

Hope this information helps.

Thanks,
