When running Software Updater to update 7-Zip, it creates a 2nd entry in Add/Remove Programs:

When I download the latest 7-zip and install it manually it replaces the existing install. Using Software Updater does not. Software Updater updates other applications just fine and replaces the existing entry.
Downloading NEW 7-Zip 22.01 never replace any existing installed version of 7-zip. So only manual update helps.
