Software Updater Not Working

I have Norton 360 for Gamers. I don't have it on Auto-update. The software updater used to show any Programs Requiring Attention but for some time now the Latest Versions doesn't seem to be being updated so Current Version = Latest Version for all 33 of my Programs. It used to work and there would be an update for at least one program every time I ran it. I just checked Google Chrome itself and that needed an update. Why has software updater stopped working?

It appears the issue is corrected, though you may be confused at first.  If you run Software Updater prior to doing a Live Update, you get a list of programs that Norton does not have the recent version number for.   That list won't go away until you do a Live Update.   After running Live Update, this issue appears to be fixed.

Thank you for your feedback. We are looking into this issue.

I have experienced the same issue on EAP version 22.24.1.3

Chrome, Edge and CCleaner have all had recent updates that Software Updater did not find.

I'm have been experiencing the same problem for several weeks.  Software Updater stopped identifying updated versions of several programs on two laptops.  Browsers, email clients, etc. have had multiple updates which Norton Software Updated failed to identify.  I've been checking and updating applications manually.  Live update does not resolve the problem.  Reinstalling Norton360 does not resolve the issue.  I've also checked my installation using Norton AutoFix.  Autofix identified no problems.  I suspect the issue resides with Norton.  Norton must have a data store of the most recent software versions.  Either that list is not getting updated or the information is not being accessed and processed by the Software Updater tool.

 I don't have it on Auto-update.

Are you manually running LiveUpdate? If not, that would explain why you have no new data for the Software Updater.
