Some URLs display blank when Norton AntiTrack is active

Note: Please do not post Personally Identifiable Information like email address, personal phone number, physical home address, product key etc.

Issue abstract: If Norton AntiTrack is active, the page https://www.lpnsw.org.au/ is blank.

Detailed description: URL https://www.lpnsw.org.au/ displays blank when AntiTrack is on. This happens when using Google Chrome and MS Edge. As soon as I deactivate AntiTrack, the pages display correctly.
I imagine other URL’s will be similarly affected.
I can work around this by disabling AntiTrack, so a fix is not urgent.

Product & version number: Norton 360 for Windows (build 25.3.9983.926)

OS details:Windows 11 Home 64-bit, Chrome Version 135.0.7049.96

What is the error message you are seeing? Nothing, just an empty web page.

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:

Good evening @HisNerdship,
Some websites require ad tracker blockers to be disabled to function properly.
This is clearly the case with this site.
On the button linked to the Norton Antitrack extension of your browser, you can click on “Fix-it”. This will allow Norton Antitrack to hide your data to force the site to work. However, you will always be protected against trackers.
More information if necessary on the support page dedicated to the subject : " Disable Norton AntiTrack for a specific website"

Thanks Guillaume,
But I don’t actually have Norton AntiTrack, only Norton 360, so I don’t have the relevant button at the top right of my browser.

Although AntiTrack doesn’t appear there, it is in my extensions. That is where I disabled it and was then able to see the web page.

I also receive popup notices from Norton informing me that I am being tracked. So I don’t know if it is installed or not. If it isn’t, why does it appear in the browser extensions? If it IS installed, why am I getting those messages and why does it not appear at the top right of the browser?
Sorry to be so awkward!

From your last image, it appears you do have the Norton AntiTrack installed. Maybe you clicked on a trial offer for this app. You should check your Norton Account to see if this is what happened. It is an extra app at an additional cost so you will need to decide if you still want this. If not, you can request a refund here.

Thanks Peter, I think I got a trial version at least a year ago, which has lingered on my machine. I certainly didn’t buy it, and it doesn’t appear in the list of applications.
Pretty slack of Norton - they should have removed it automatically when the trial expired.
I have removed the extension.
Thanks again.

I certainly would not want any app/extension developer to be able to automatically remove anything from my system. The best they can do, and Norton does do, is to disable the functionality when a subscription expires.

OK, I see your point.
However it is still a worry that AntiTrack can nuke a web page with no warning or message. I have given an example URL of where this happens (there are doubtless many more) so Norton should at least look into it.
What if I had purchased AntiTrack? I would then have to disable it to avoid this situation. Are you in a position to nudge Norton?
Anyway, thanks for your help.

I have no experience with Norton AntiTrack. But I wonder if websites might block sites that block ad trackers. I know many websites block access from known VPN IP addresses.

All I can do is escalate this thread to see if we can get any info on whether or not AntiTrack might block things the way I suggest.
