Sonar Advanced Protection

Past few days now had this problem surface, I have Vista, Norton 360 V 4.3.0.5, after a reboot yesterday it went away, but was back today.

Did the online tech support, cleared then 17minutes later it was back.

Did the online tech support again, watched as they connected online, saw them go into the

SETTINGS tab, then into the

ADMINISTRATIVE SETTINGS,  then into

PRODUCT STATE MONITORING configure and under

ANTIVIRUS unchecked the Sonar Advanced PROTECTION box ?

 

That looked to me like it was disabled and not fixed at all. Help please !

You might try running the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool

be sure to reboot and run live update until the program tells you that all updates have been downloaded and installed.

Please report back. be sure to add your operating system and the version of your Norton product.

Alright thanks I have windows 7 and Norton Internet Security and Antivirus Protection Version 19,9,0,9

 

last night I did the live update and restarted my computer like you said and it still didnt work but it was late and i had to go to sleep so i shut my computer down. Today i turned my computer back on and its working now ts not the first time it does this so im not sure if i should let it be or reinstall Norton again incase theres something playing around with it

what do you recommand?
