I've had NIS since the 2002 version. I currently have 2011 installed. I've also had Visual Studio 6 and Visual Studio 2008 installed and used them for a long time (visual studio 6 for several years).
Today I tried to start VC++ from Visual Studio 6 and Sonar quarantined "msdev.exe" for suspicious activity. Likewise it did the same for Visual Studio 2008, even though two days ago everything was fine.
Unfortunately since Sonar treats everyone like children and gives meaningless information, I can't explain what exactly it thought was "suspicious".
There have been no changes to my system other than a recent NIS update. Is there some reason why Sonar would suddenly freak out and start quarantining files that have been around for ages?
