In Norton Utilities I feel that bleach disk is unnecessarily slow/inefficient. MY suggestion would be to write a tag into the bleached area that is recognised when the next bleach is run. If there has been no change to the area than subsequent bleaches can ignore and only bleach the disk space that actually requires it.

I also think it's a great idea but we haven't had any updates for NU16 for over two years and I'm afraid it may soon reach EOL.
Not sure anything is happening with this - is there any more support or can Norton update the thread with any thing that may or may not be in the pipeline?

I noticed that my system was running slow again today so I opened NU, ran the first 2 recommended options and was left with Bleach as my next task and still with performance issues. I need to work so can't run bleach now.
